Brand Spotlight: La La Land Kind Cafe

What caught my attention when it came to La La Land Kind Cafe was not only their signature bright yellow color, but their purpose of hiring foster youth and mission to spread kindness. They are a company with a vision to make the world a better place.

La La Land Kind Cafe is a coffee house located in Dallas, Texas that makes aesthetically pleasing lattes and Instagram-worthy toast. Their bright yellow cups and sleeves with inspiring quotes on them make it fun for customers to share their coffee on social media (which you know is always good publicity).

They even had a contest for customers to submit a sleeve idea where the winner will get their idea printed on a sleeve and a $100 gift card. I admire their unique ideas on how to get their customers involved on social media and to have customers see their ideas play out in real life.

La La Land Kind Cafe has also created one of my favorite social media campaigns that consistently brings a smile to my face. Their Drive-By Kindness Episodes on TikTok features videos of people from La La Land driving by strangers on the street and giving them compliments while filming their reactions. It is guaranteed that whenever you watch one of these your mood will improve immensely. It is beautiful witnessing someone's day get a little brighter because of a random compliment from a stranger.

I love how they chose to use social media to not only promote their brand, but to promote their mission and that is to spread kindness.

Not only do they have rocking social media, but they even have their own clothing line consisting of bright yellow butterflies, inspirational t-shirts, and "make America kind again" hats. It's not just your typical brand merch, it truly reflects the trends that are popular in today's culture.

In today's world, consumers love interacting with brands and companies where they know their purchases and contributions are going to a better cause. By supporting La La Land Kind Cafe, customers are also supporting foster youth.

Other brands can learn a lot from La La Land Kind Cafe, whether that's through their social media tactics, instagram-worthy packaging, or their core values. In a world where we see a lot of hate, La La Land is doing their part to make it filled with kindness.
